Simple House with the Surrounding Natural Beauty-AB House by Copeland Associates Architect

Two architects who named Ainsley O’Connell and Barry Copeland from Copeland Associates Architects have designed a simple house for themselves and their three children. It’s located on a slope facing north to take advantage of the natural beauty surrounding areas for synergy with their homes. By the concept of an open structure and the home materials featuring of beauty.

Description from the designers :
Set in a rear garden of a traditional villa in a leafy suburban street is a family home designed by two architects for themselves and their three children.
Embedded into the gentle north-facing slope, the house is slightly angled on the site to address street and sun. This placement defines different garden spaces, used variously according to time of day and weather. The internal circulation axis visually connects garden and street through the house.
Structure has been left exposed as finish wherever possible natural concrete floors, steel beams, profiled metal and blond plywood. Pool reflections create moving patterns of light on the tranquil white surfaces. Sun warms the house throughout the day.
