Santa Fe Residence is a project of modern interior that designed by Burkoff Design Associates,Inc in collaboration with Howard Oxley Associates Architecture. Santa Fe project is an 8000 square foot residence situated on 2 acres of rolling desert terrain.This modern interior design blend between modern and ancient, inspired by modern architecture of Canary Islands,as well as photos of the Anasazi ruins’ dry stack stonework. Material used in this interior is a combination of the use stone in the fireplace, cedar wood on the ceilings and columns.
Design challenges of this modern house is located in the kitchen area. where the client wishes of the functional, aesthetic, very comfortable and satisfying should really created. And to create a warm and functional kitchen is the lighting design. Daytime lighting design is the use of natural light coming in through the window glass with a wide opening. Whereas for lighting at night is by using the lights on the ceiling and the use to shine on certain accents with the intention creates to beauty.
